I paint intuitively, with no idea of subject matter or color, etc. I go at the canvas and just see what happens. Using mixed media, the result is vibrant color and extreme texture. I create great detail, which is engaging and asks the viewer to participate visually in the energy of the piece. My work has been described as “discoverable,” meaning that you see something new each time. It has also been described as showing “fearlessness,” which is what I believe every artist strives for...
